Biography

Timothy Michael Earwood currently resides in The Ozarks where he is taking a retreat from the city life. He is currently keeping his "chops" alive "performing" covers at Zooloo's Bar in Fayetteville. Born in Los Angeles, Timothy spent most of his life moving from place to place, but strangely enough, hasn't left the United States (except brief visits to cities along the Mexican-American border, and an accidental detour into Canada. Places Timothy has called home includes, California (Downey, Long Beach, Angels Camp, Fontana, Rialto, North Hollywood, and Valley Glen), Tennessee (Gallatin, Old Hickory, Murfreesboro, Madison, Joelton, and Nashville), Oklahoma (Claremore and Miami), Missouri (Joplin, Neosho, Webb City and Carthage), Texas (Wichita Falls and San Antonio), and Arkansas (Little Rock, Rogers, and Fayetteville). Timothy began playing drums while in Tennessee at Thurman Francis Jr High located in Smyrna, TN. Moving on to guitar and piano, he began composing simple themes that has been carried into his music today. While visiting in California, he decided started playing keyboards in a rock band called Bitter Sweet, but decided to return to Missouri to enroll in a Music Education program at Missouri Southern in Joplin. Timothy played in several bands either on drums, bass, or vocals, but after relocating to Texas in 1996, he began working on solo material. It was this time that while enrolled at the University of Texas at San Antonio and at San Antonio College where he majored in philosophy and film, he began concentrating heavily on writing screenplays and poetry. In 2001, The Great Expansion: Prose & Poetry, a collection of Timothy's earlier poetry, was published. Currently, Fuurther: 13 Delusions & a Book of Belief is being submitted for publication, a new collection of poetry. He relocated to San Francisco and began studying Human Evolution at San Francisco State University, and later, Evolutionary Psychology, while continuing writing music for songs and spoken word material. |
